With a combined 70 years of experience specializing in the multifamily industry, the principals of the MRP have completed the acquisition, development and redevelopment of over 30,000 apartments and condominiums.
Monroe Residential Partners focus on the development of boutique-style, luxury apartment communities in Transit-Oriented (TOD) locations of Chicago’s downtown and surrounding suburbs. Each development is strategically positioned to offer a high-quality, intimate living experience for renters that appreciate spending slightly less on amenities that they may or may not use. MRP communities offer close proximity to public transportation, the conveniences of shopping, nightlife and employment, and are situated in bustling neighborhoods. Dawn brings over 18 years of real estate finance and accounting experience to her role as the Vice President of Finance for Monroe Residential Partners. She manages all accounting, reporting and financial aspects for the company and its portfolios.
Before starting her career at Monroe Residential Partners Dawn was a Vice President, Senior Fund Account Manager at BNY Mellon. Dawn started her career on Wall Street working for JP Morgan in their Financial Control Outstanding Division where she became an Accounting Officer. After relocating back to her hometown Chicago she worked for Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group as a Senior Auditor. Having a desire to continue her work in real estate finance and accounting she obtained a position at RREEF (Rosenberg Real Estate Equity Funds), which was later acquired by Deutsche Bank, and therefore became a part of their Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Real Estate Investment Group. At Deutsche Bank Dawn was responsible for the financial affairs of 1 REIT with assets in excess of $565 million and 5 separate account funds with assets in excess of $1 billion. After working at Deutsche Bank for over 15 years the fund finance team at Deutsche Bank was acquired by BNY Mellon. At BNY Mellon Dawn was responsible for leading a team of fund accountants in all aspects of the day to day activities for the fund administration of a REIT and various separate account funds with assets in excess of $2 Billion.
Dawn holds a BS degree in Accounting from Hampton University, and an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from Roosevelt University.
Jeremy is a principal in the law firm Ruttenberg Gilmartin Reis LLC. Jeremy has a wide range of expertise, including residential and commercial acquisitions and dispositions, development and real estate based corporate matters. In his role as General Counsel to Monroe Residential Partners, Jeremy is an advisor and provides legal guidance in all matters to Monroe Residential Partners.
Nick joined Monroe Residential Partners in 2017 as a Development Manager. Responsibilities include supporting the Principals throughout the development lifecycle with investment analysis, design, construction, budgeting, market analysis, pricing, marketing, legal and asset management.
Prior to joining Monroe Residential Partners, Nick worked at CA Ventures, Village Green Holding and Stoneleigh Companies developing and acquiring multifamily, student housing, hospitality and mixed-use properties throughout the country.
Nick graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago Honors College with a major in Finance and a double minor in Economics and Statistics.
Emmanuel brings over 7 years of real estate development and management experience to his role at Monroe Management. He is responsible for property management, budgeting, and implementing all management policies and procedures.
Before joining Monroe Residential Partners, Emmanuel was a Community Manger at First Community Management, a condominium management company in Chicago. He was responsible for budgeting, capital project management, and communications for the portfolio of 10 communities. Prior to that Emmanuel was a Portfolio Rental Property Manager at Kass Management services, a property management company in Chicago. He was responsible for budgeting, management, collections, and leasing of 350 unit portfolio.
He is a licensed Community Association Manager and Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois. Emmanuel received his B.S. in Real Estate and Finance from DePaul University.
